An innovator in the development of voting equipment came to TransForm Design to convert a commercial component assembly for a voting machine into an integrated voting system. Our new design includes a folding system that protects the touch screen during transport and a printing system that has a locked paper vote box. This design was one of the first to include a "paper trail" in a touch screen voting system. Additionally, we developed a combination transport case and voting booth that will open quickly, protects the equipment, and, with a simple snap adjustment, allows easy access for people in wheelchairs.
